Restorative yoga is a conscious relaxation or deep rest for the body and mind. In this type of yoga, you use props to support the body in a pose so you can feel a gentle stretch, yet still feel comfortable enough to be able to hold that pose for 2-5 minutes allowing for complete release and relaxation.

It’s important in our busy lives to take the time to slow down and allow our bodies to just relax. Restorative yoga can help reduce stress, rejuvenate the body, lower blood pressure, ease low back pain and thats just to name a few. Join me for this restorative practice to reap all these benefits and to give yourself a much needed break.

*Props needed: ~2 blankets or towels ~1 block (if you do not have a block, use a 3rd blanket/towel)
